The super-sized TentBox Lite XL is great for families or those looking for extra space and luxury when heading off-grid. It has an in-built super-king mattress that sleeps 4 adults comfortably and has a whole host of experience-boosting features.

This roof tent takes 5 minutes to set up and creates an awesome basecamp for any adventure.

WHY HIRE A ROOF TENT?

A roof tent makes camping simple, flexible and comfortable. Roof tents are super quick to set up and easy to pack away, they keeps you off the ground, offer great views and ventilation and provide a unique camping experience. Whether you’re heading off for a weekend or a longer trip, it’s a practical way to explore without the hassle of traditional tents.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

The Tentbox Lite XL will fit most cars, you’ll just need to check your car has a dynamic roof load of at least 75kg and that you have your own roof bars fitted to your care. We’ll handle the rest.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

We’ll fit a adventure ready roof tent to your car, demo how to set things up and provide you with fitted sheets and pillow cases.

How does roof tent hire work?

BOOKING

Book the roof tent and accessories you need for the days that you need them via our booking system here. Without booking online, no booking is guaranteed.

DEPOSIT

We need to see a recent utility bill (less than 3-months old) as well as a valid photo I.D (Driver’s Licence or Passport) to be left with us for the duration of the hire period. Arriving without a deposit means the hire will be cancelled and no refund will be provided.

COLLECTION

The roof tent and any equipment booked will be available to collect from our unit on Canon’s Road in central Bristol. Currently all equipment booked must be collected and returned in person to the point of hire, unless agreed otherwise.

The Need-to-Know Bits

You can find our full terms and conditions here and at checkout on our online booking system – please make sure to read them thoroughly. Below we’ve highlighted a couple of clauses that we think everyone should be aware of before booking with Beyond.

LICENCE, CAR AND ROOF BARS

Hirers must be 25 years or older, hold a valid UK driving licence, and have a suitable vehicle with a dynamic roof load of 75kg+ and have roof bars capable of supporting the weight of the tent and occupants. It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure their vehicle is compatible and roadworthy for roof tent use.

CARE

The tent must be kept clean and free from cooking inside, smoking, or open flames. The tent must be returned clean and dry.

Prices

Roof tent hire starts from £45 p/day with discounted rates available for multi-day bookings. Please use the booking calendar here to get a price and check availability for your hire period, where you can also add an accessories you might need too.
